It is already June. I don't know where the time has gone. Summer is finally here, but we have not seen the sun in about 2 weeks. It has been cloudy and raining, and just not a whole lot of fun.
This month however is very exciting for us. We were able to purchase a Sprinter van and have a lift put into it for easier transport of Lexx. He is three years old, and he is not getting any smaller. Whenever we plan on going anywhere I have had to ensure that I have someone with me so that we can lift him in and out of the van. Now however, I am able to go whenever we want. The lift is wonderful. Thank you to all that donated towards making the sprinter obtainable.
Ausgust 2011
It was almost 2 years since Lexx had to be hospitalized, but we celebrated too soon. About a week before the anniversary date we had to take him down to Alberta's Children Hospital. It started with a lot of saliva brought on what we thought was teething. However, it just got worse so we opted to take him in. Turned out, he had a cold! We were lucky however, he only had to stay in the hospital for about 2 weeks and now he is home and happy.
This last weekend we were able to take Lexx to the lake. He didn't get to go all the way down to the lake but was able to go to the beach. And he just loved it. Lets hope that the weather stays nice so that we can take him out there more.
